03/17/12: RENO, Nevada - R-Squared Films announced the home video debut of the supernatural thriller BACKROAD available on DVD July 17, 2012. The film will be sold in Wal-Mart, Target and Best Buy retail locations nationwide.
BACKROAD is written, produced and directed by Moonlite Filmwerks’ Wayne Slaten and co-produced with James T. Denton. The film is executive produced by Martin Delon and Marisol Treviño. BACKROAD stars Matthew Carter, Greg Dean, Elizabeth McCain and Julie Oliver-Touchstone.
03/12/12: Moonlite Filmwerks' 48 Hour Film Project short film, COLD WAR, has been selected to screen at the 2012 Cannes Film Festival at the Short Film Corner on May 21, 2012 at 1:30 p.m. at the Palais.

01/15/12: Moonlite Filmwerks won Best Film for Houston in the 2011 48 Hour Film competition for the short film COLD WAR. On March 5, 2012, COLD WAR will compete against one hundred international cities for Best 48 Four Film Project Film of 2011 at Filmapalooza 2012 as part of the Taos Shortz Film Fest in Taos, New Mexico.
11/07/11: Moonlite Filmwerks and Gaucho Productions have agreed to a deal with Archstone Distribution for worldwide sales rights to their upcoming feature length sci-fi film PATRIOT ACT set for production in the spring of 2012.
10/31/11: Moonlite Filmwerks will be in attendance at the 2011 American Film Market (AFM) in Santa Monica, California to promote their films PATRIOT ACT and BACKROAD.
